Recently, the 2018 French Youth World Cup team visited Cardinal Reining Horses, located in Aubrey, Texas, owned and operated by Joao Marcos. Joao, a native Brazilian, purchased the facility in 2013 fully committed to supporting and developing the sport of reining on an international level. Today, Cardinal Ranch is an elite reining horse operation with leading stallions, state of the art breeding operation, and first class show barn.

Impressed to say the least
The team members were welcomed by Jennifer Anderson, General Manager of Cardinal Reining Horses, along with her baby kangaroo. Franco Bertolani, Head Trainer, introduced the team to Cardinal’s leading stallions…Inferno Sixty Six and Dun It For Whizkey.

Inferno Sixty Six and Franco were the Level 4 Open Reserve Champions at the 2015 NRHA Futurity, after an exciting run-off with Shesouttayourleague. The young stallion’s future is hot! So hot he is possibly the first horse to have his own spicy tomato sauce made after him, and only the best 100% of Sicilian cherry tomatoes by Agromonte.
With a superb pedigree behind him, Dun It For Whizkey is no surprise a success for Cardinal Ranch! Dun It For Whizkey and Franco were the 2016 NRHA Futurity Level 4 Open Reserve Champions and recently placed 3rd at the 2018 NRHA Derby.

The team continued their tour to Cardinal’s state of the art breeding operation. They were once again amazed when introduced to Dun It For Chex, NRHA #1 Leading Dam for 2016 and 2017. She was enjoying her air-conditioned, cushion made stall which is shared with ”Annabelle” a famous show goat. Dun It For Chex is only $60,000 away from producing $1,000,000 in money earners.
